Disco Inferno is founded by two members from a band called The Beetles in 2007. The Beetles was a Beatles tribute band and toured thru 1997-2006. The Beetles came to it's end, when all the things were done, that was ment to do. Hundreds of gigs, one live album and thousands of broken hearts left behind. A guy who was performing George Harrison suggested to "John Lennon" that he had an idea for a new band. They both had had enought of the Beetles stuff and were ready to move on with some other kind of project.
So this "George Harrison" (who we later shall call Romanzo Masculino) told "John" (later Dick Rosco) about this idea about a new rock band, that plays discohits with an energetic drive and a flamboyant appearance. All the songs should be the greatest hits of their own era and the look of the band should be very funny and loveable. John was very excited about that, 'cause this would allow him to perform standing up and go crazy on stage. In the Beetles John (Dick) played a guitar and the whole band performed sitting on a stools. With this new idea of the band John was able to just focus on the singing and dancing. It was Georges job to find the other members for this band and get the motor running.
The third member for the band was Willy, the drummer. Willy had played in the bands like Tö Blöös söös, Waltari, Elvis Tribute Band and Maiden Hell, and George had known him for years.
The next member was Manolo Toloporco, lead guitarist. He and George were also old friends from the Elvis Tribute Band. Manolo brought with him the bass player (Justin Credible) from his other band, Super Fox, so there was only one place left to fill; the keyboard player..
The first keyboard player who was nominated to fill the boots of this most wanted role was Suck Airy, George's friend from the band called Juice Fruit. But Suck never showed up for his first rehearsals, so Disco Inferno was in a difficult situation. They needed a messiah to bring the salvation (keyboards) and get the party started. Willy had this friend (Geomre Moemacho) who wasn't in a band at that time, and wanted to find one. It was March 2007 and the story had just begun.
3 months of rehearsals and building up the image made this group the best showband ever. They planned to do the first two concerts quietly as a support for a band called Raaka-Aine. The first venue saw Disco Inferno as the opening act of the evening, but the show was so amazing and mind blasting, that the next evening the tables turnes, and Raaka-Aine became the opening act for the Disco Inferno show.
